Oakland School for the Arts is a charter high school serving 400 students in downtown Oakland. OSA’s program is housed as a part of the rehabilitation of Oakland’s historic Fox Theater. SBA converted the historic offices to educational and rehearsal uses and designed two new three-story additions. The new educational facilities, combined with state of the art performance spaces, allow Oakland School for the Arts and the Fox Theater to act as the heart of the vibrant urban arts district of Oakland.
