Sacramento Country Day Lower School Building
Sacramento, CA
The Lower School building is the first phase of a comprehensive campus master plan to organize a campus established in 1964 and incrementally developed over the years. The new building creates a cohesive identity for the youngest students and expands open space by increasing density. The new two-story building blends with the small scale and traditional architecture of the existing campus. A south-facing courtyard provides a gathering space large enough to accommodate the entire K through 12 student body and will link to future middle and high school courtyards.
